The event I want to attend says I can enter a promo code – what is it?

A promo code is a code (letters or numbers or both) created by the event promoter that can be used to get a discount on tickets or to access a ticket prior to the release of tickets to the general public. A promoter may email their database with this code, offer the code in a local newspaper, or advertise it in our Eventfinda newsletter.

If you've received a promo code, you can enter it into the Promo Code box if one is displayed on the ticket purchase page to enable the discount or pre-sale access.

Promo codes are created by and distributed at the discretion of the event organiser, so we won't necessarily know about the code or what it provides.
